Description: Marigold Appleton was made for the laid-back beach life of picturesque WaterColor, Florida. Unfortunately, her bank account was not. She’s about to lose her gift shop due to her hidden location. When the town which rarely allows hotels announces they are designating a plot of land for one, Marigold convinces her father to bid on the land and build one of his boutique hotels on it so she can move her shop into it. But also bidding on the same plot of land is property developer and insanely hunky Dane Knight. She’s got to keep her guard up, because his interest in her may be only to get her to drop her bid for the land. She just wishes he wasn’t the first guy in years to make her knees buckle.
For weeks, Dane has been trying to get the girl he met at the bonfire out of his brain. As she crystalizes in front of him at the bar of the WaterColor clubhouse, he knows his daydreams of her didn’t stack up to the real thing. But he just got out of a poisonous relationship. His ex has a bad habit of dropping her kids off without notice, and he’s too big of a sucker for them to say no. A relationship with Marigold is out of the question. But after he gives in to his weakness for her for the first time, he knows he’s never going to be able to get her out of his heart.
WaterColor Wishes was my first book I read by Melissa Chambers and let me just tell you I want to read the rest of her series! This is the fourth book in her series: Love Along 30a. 30A is on the panhandle of Florida. If you have never been there, I highly recommend it! I have been there and the beach are the atmosphere is great! Dane met Marigold at a bond fire and has not stopped thinking about her. One night Dane and his twin brother are at a bar and see Marigold. You will not believe what happens during this section! It will make you question if they can even have a relationship. Marigold has a gift shop that is not doing the best due to location, but Dane save the day when he came to help her with a costume contact with the kids. Marigold was surprised by how well Dane worked with kids that it threw red flags out there. Dane comes with baggage, but I am not going to tell you how, you will have to read and find out.I do like how the book had each of them work throughout their lives and how it would have been done in real life. This book was so good it could be turned into a film. I highly recommend reading it and I plan on reading more of the series soon!

I highly recommend reading this book. Everyone is different and this book helps you understand why. I like how the author had their own stories in the book as well. The book explains 4 different personalities and gives great examples on how to work with each other. I had no idea I would like a book about personalities, but I feel like it has helped me become more aware of others and why they might be the way they are and that is helpful.
I enjoyed this book so much that I decided to give it a friend to read and we plan on using it as a giveaway in our face book group.

Five days of crazy no-strings sex. That was the deal. But when feelings sneak in, the risks are too high…
Fern Laughlin prefers two things to help deal with stress—whiskey or sex. The mysterious, handsome stranger at the hotel bar is the perfect combination and the best distraction before the night of her big event. After all, her job’s at stake—she has to raise revenue by five percent or she’s out of a career.
Rylan Cirula despises events like Silvas car shows but his late father’s wish was to get his ’67 Meridian certified in every category. Rylan follows through and is surprised to learn his amazing hookup was the vice-president of the company—and she’s not happy when he pursues her the next day.
She can’t afford any distractions during the show, but Rylan can’t get her out of his mind. She doesn’t care about his money and he doesn’t care about her aversion to relationships. Five days of crazy no-strings-attached sex. That’s the deal they strike.
But neither is prepared for feelings to find their way into the bedroom…
Once I read what this book was going to be about. I started it right away and didn’t stop until I finished it. It only took me two days to finish. There was days of hot steamy sex, car shows, and maybe even a love story. Will Ryland and Fern just have 5 days of sex and no strings attacked? I was surprised to find out that the location of the book is right here in St. Louis where I LIVE! I knew exactly where the author was talking about on some of locations in the book. I enjoy books that you can use your imagination and picture everything that is happening. It was even better since I knew some of the locations that the author was talking about. Whiskey Surprises is a 5 star review for me. OH my did you see the cover.. nothing more screams sex. Not just sex, but HOT, Steamy sex.
Thanks for reading my review and I hope you enjoy the book too!
Virginia Beach is a great to get some sun, relax, and walk on the board walk. They all kinds of pizza parlors, shopping stops, and almost 3 mile board walk; that also has a little fair every summer to ride ride’s and eat funnel cakes.
Last but definitely not least, there is plenty of space to have a party. Whether it’s a birthday party, get together, or a wedding reception you count on somewhere to be available.
Virginia has every season, during the summer it’s hot, fall it’s beautiful and breezy (my fav season), winter it’s cold and snows, and during the spring we have blooming flowers and just enough rain to make the leaves grow pretty.
I would recommend visiting Virginia!!

BOOK DETAILS: Magnolia Road by J. Lynn Bailey (Granite Harbor #3) Publication date: January 29th 2019 Genres: Adult, Romance, Suspense
Description: On the outside, Bryce Hayes is satisfied with the structure of her life, her demanding career, and series of no-strings-attached relationships, but her brother bounces in and out of rehab, her mother thinks she can beat her son’s addiction, and her father is simply doing what he can to keep a semblance of “normal”. When Bryce’s father, Congressman Hayes, orders her to Granite Harbor, Maine, due to a string of threats to their family coming from an unidentifiable source, she doesn’t expect Ethan Casey, the sexy soldier who slept with her, then walked out, without so much as a goodbye, to be her landlord. Ethan’s past is riddled with chaos, bullets, and loud noise. After returning to his small town after the war, he’s determined to get back to his roots. Peace, quiet, and working as a game warden for the Maine Warden Service sounds right as rain. But with Bryce in Granite Harbor, staying in his house on Magnolia Road, Ethan can’t stop thinking about his future—and that includes Bryce. But to make things right with the love of his life, he’ll have to open old wounds…and risk losing her forever. Note to readers, each book can be read as a stand alone.
Once I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. My husband came into the room and turned off the lights because it was bed time, not once but TWICE! I even took the book with me to work so I could read it on my lunch break. I enjoyed the small town love story, but inside that love story there were struggles including PTSD and Addition. I felt something for each character and enjoyed the build up of how it ended. I like how I knew something about each character and when a new one was introduced it was not too little information about the person there was just the right amount and how they intertwine with the main characters. My most favorite part of this book is when Ethan is with James and James’s says “You can’t control life, Ethan. The only things you can control are your attitudes and your actions. Everything else, you’re powerless. You can’t control how love works. You aren’t that powerful” . That part is so real, truthful and powerful to me and hopefully others. Which is why I typed it out in my review. I do recommended reading this book and I know that this is the third book in her series and plan on reading the others soon.
